DR. APJ ABDUL KALAM BOY’S HOSTEL

There is an on-campus Boys’ Hostel with the capacity of 150 seats. Hostel rooms are well furnished and have adequate living and working space. The students are provided with basic amenities. Each room accommodates two students on a sharing basis.

The hostel campus maintenance like cleaning/sweeping is done daily. The security services are round the clock. Hostel also has a mess facility which is run by Students in consultation with Hostel authorities on a no-loss-no-profit basis. The Institute also provides Medical Facility, Study room to students. The hostel management committee ensures safety and congenial stay of the inmates. The Hostels have separate mess and common open areas. Other facilities are all Hostellers, 24 hrs. Electric power facility, 24 hrs. Security, First-aid and Ambulance facility, R.O. drinking water, Hot water in winter. The hostel has facilities for Basketball Court, table tennis, carom, and chess. Facilities for outdoor games are also available in the campus.

HOSTEL WARDENS AND CARETAKERS:

Warden:

The Institute appointed Lt. Mukesh Kumar Chourase of the faculty Department of Electronic Media of the Institute as Warden of a Hostel; He is the highest authority of the Hostel, responsible for managing and conducting the affairs of the Hostel. The Institute provides staff with office structure to assist the Warden in the day-to-day functioning of the hostel.

The Gymkhana is located in the hostel, has space for a well equipped Gymnasium and space for Yoga. Sandipani Meditation Center (Sandipani Dhyaan Kendra) Yoga classes are also conducted for the resident students along with the Yoga course students at the Sandipani Meditation Center in the University campus and these are free of cost.

There are common rooms available on each floor of the hostel for internal sports and cultural activities of the students. In which internal sports and cultural activities are organized by the hostel students under the auspices of the Sports Committee.
