MCU Celebrates its Women Power

Bhopal, 07^th March, 2024: The Women Development Cell organised a variety of events to mark the International Women’s Day celebrations at MCU.

The day began with a Plantation drive followed by a Story telling competition on the theme of women empowerment. The auditorium of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations was named after the famous Lata Mangeshkar followed by Talks on Women empowerment by Dr.Maithili Ganjoo and Mrs.Pratibha Pandey. A cultural program organized at Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Auditorium began with a dance drama on women empowerment followed by a ramp walk where students dressed up in traditional Indian Attire representing different Indian states celebrated the spirit of womanhood. The Vice Chancellor also presented gifts to the female cleaning staff.
