VC Inaugurates BSNL Tower at MCU Campus
Universal Brotherhood Day celebrated
Bhopal, 11 September, 2024: Vice Chancellor Prof K G Suresh today inaugurated a BSNL 4G tower at Makhanpuram campus of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication today. BSNL General Manager Shri Mahendra Singh Dhakad and other officers were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Suresh said the installation of the tower would enhance mobile and internet connectivity in the campus and nearby areas. Earlier, the university had installed a Jio tower at its campus. The university also celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day in collaboration with the Vivekananda Kendra. Shri Amitabh Shrivtastav was the keynote speaker on the occasion. Prof Suresh urged students to read Swami Vivekananda and described the patriot monk as his inspiration, while Shrivastav said Swami Vivekananda, Netaji Bose, Bhagat Singh and other freedom fighters and not film celebrities should be the heroes for the younger generation.
