MCU to launch free counselling service for students, staff members

Bhopal, 16^th April, 2021: Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal will launch free counseling service of clinical psychologists for its students and staff members during Covid-19 period, following setting up of Covid Response Team (CRT), on the initiative by Vice Chancellor Prof KG Suresh.

Kaartik Gupta, Clinical Psychologist at AKGs OVIHAMS Medical Centre and Dharitri Dutta Gupta, Clinical Psychologist will provide their services on telephone. Kaartik Gupta will available on Monday and Friday from 6pm – 7pm and Dharitri Dutta Gupta will be on available for telephonic consultations on Wednesdays from 6-7 pm. Women employees and girl students can contact Dharitri Dutta Gupta for their counseling. Vice Chancellor Prof Suresh said: “This is to provide counseling services to those stressed due to Covid 19 prevailing situation, as all are getting adverse information through various media.”
