Educationists to gather on March 1-2 for deliberation

Bhopal, 28^th February, 2021: Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication will hold a two-day seminar on ‘National Education Policy and its Implementation’, as part of its initiative in this regard, in collaboration with NITI Aayog of Government of India and Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, on March 1-2.

Prof Mazhar Asif of JNU, who was part of the policy framing team, will be special invitee. Educationist Shri Umashankar Pachori will be key speaker and Vice Chancellor Prof KG Suresh will chair the seminar. Higher Education Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr Mohan Yadav will be chief guest of the valedictory function on the second day on March 2.

Representatives of premier institutions and educationists will participate in the seminar, being organised by Research for Resurgence Foundation Cell of the University. Deliberation on practical aspects of the policy will be held. It will prepare a guideline for implementation of the NEP in journalism and media education institutions. University teachers of Bhopal, Noida, Khandwa and Rewa and eminent persons will participate in the seminar, said Coordinator Dr. Pavan Malik.
